• Assist students with SEN in accessing the curriculum by providing tailored support in various subjects and activities.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement individual learning plans for students.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring the well-being and safety of all students.
• Foster independence and encourage personal development by promoting self-confidence and self-esteem among students.
• Adapt teaching materials and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of SEN students.
• Provide assistance with classroom management, including behaviour management strategies and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
• Offer one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help in specific areas.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teaching staff and parents/guardians.
• Accompany students on educational outings, trips, and visits, ensuring their safety and engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and any concerns or incidents

• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on Update Service or willing to apply.
• Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs, preferably in an educational setting.
• A genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and a commitment to promoting their well-being and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage time and resources.
• An understanding of safeguarding principles and the ability to adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.
