The Role

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Application Support professional to join our on-site IT Team

Applications are invited from committed, reliable and proactive individuals, capable of operating efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic working environment. Reporting directly to the Head of IT, candidates will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident of liaising at all levels both internally and externally.

Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, you will be responsible for supporting and developing both enterprise and bespoke applications that are delivered to end users within the business. Workload will be varied, collaborating with all operational areas of the business to understand business & user requirements of current and future systems.

Duties will be split between project and support work, including but not restricted to these key areas:

• IT helpdesk support for tickets raised against supported applications
• Plan & perform preventative maintenance work on IT applications and systems
• Undertake administration and maintenance of user accounts on internal and external applications
• Collaborating in business process documentation to ensure alignment to system best practices and standards
• Ensure IT documentation and user guides are maintained
• Develop and execute functional and technical test scripts
• Deployment of new on premise, cloud systems and applications
• Support project delivery, application upgrades and testing

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience within an IT environment
• Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Entire software development life cycle
• SharePoint on premise, including workflows/document libraries
• Experience in developing applications with customisations & integrations
• EDI technologies and administration
• ERP Systems
• Application patch management
• SQL Server
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Power BI
• Power Apps
• Microsoft Teams
• XML
• ITIL framework
• Project management
