Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £27-30,000

Job Elements

• Provide technical expertise and support to customers and sales colleagues throughout the sales process and after the sale.
• Interpretation of customer requirements in either written, drawn or verbal format.
• Processing enquiries using CRM system
• Create technical solution with support of in-house calculation software and tools.
• Liaise with various departments both locally and globally to define production feasibility.
• Use of in-house project management systems where applicable.
• Submission and follow up of technical and commercial proposals to customer.
• Creation of customer and product master data in SAP ERP system.
• Prepare, submit and follow up quotations based on customer requirements
• Conduct technical product presentations for customers and sales colleagues.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum qualification of HNC in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and customers
• Ability to use software such as SAP and Microsoft Suite
• Strong technical background with ability to read and interrogate technical drawings
• Ability to manage multiple enquiries and projects and prioritise accordingly
• Full UK driving license and the ability to travel for customer visits and ongoing training requirements
