We are seeking ambitious, driven and highly motivated individuals to work within our underwriting team as an Application Processing Administrator. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our professional, award-winning service, which makes us stand out within our industry.

Our Underwriting Team sits within our Operations Department who are committed to delivering ‘Operational Excellence’, ensuring a first class service is delivered to our valued customers.
What the job involves:
- Processing high volumes of finance applications during the final stages of the underwriting process with accuracy.
- Ensuring all work is processed in an efficient and fair manner in line with our company SLA’s and Quality standards.
- The ability to follow processes and use judgement to ensure we are always prioritising the best outcome for the customer.
- Being able to identify errors, discrepancies, vulnerability and fraud.
- Handling internal calls and email queries from other internal departments.
- Maintain confidentiality over Customers personal data and information relating to our partnerships and customers.
- Continued training and a desire for self-development.
- Keeping up to date with relevant industry knowledge, internal training and company policies to maintain our regulatory and professional standards.
What are we looking for?
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge and experience of working within a regulated industry is an advantage.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise something urgent.
- The ability to work a one weekend day per week, with a day off in the week (40 hours over 5 days per week).
- Ability to commute to our Chesterfield office (S41 9AZ)
This is a Hybrid role, with a minimum of one day per week required in the office.
We have the flexibility to consider people part time (circa 32 hours over 4 days per week) with a requirement for working one weekend day per week.
