Your role
We are looking for an Applications Support Engineer to work as part of a team delivering applications support and development services to our customers. Your role will involve Application and system support and enhancements of critical software applications in an Agile DevOps team.
You will be responsible for the provision of application support and development services, either directly to users of the applications or to service delivery functions.
Your experience
- Application support experience for Java based web applications with RDBMS backends.
- Experience of supporting applications that run on Cloud platforms
- Experience of developing code to enhance applications and fix bugs
- Experience of identifying and delivering service improvements including automation
Technical Skills
+ Applications Support in the following - Java, Javascript, HTML/CSS, SQL
+ Platform & Cloud - AWS/Docker/Kubernetes
+ CI/CD tooling such as but not limited to Jenkins, Maven, Cloud Foundry
Desirable Skills
+ Monitoring tools - Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace
+ Stardog
+ Java Application Servers(e.g. Tomcat, Weblogic)
+ Clojure
+ Ruby Rails
+ Python
+ Shiny R
+ Vue.js
+ Auth0
+ Dynamo DB
Please note due to the nature of this role you will be required to be eligible for SC clearance.
