Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 DOE.
Location: Fully remote
Contract: Permanent, Full time.
Shifts: 40 hours a week. Monday to Friday 9.00am - 6.00pm

Role Purpose
The Application Front End Developer will be a crucial part of our agile development team, responsible for designing, building, and optimizing the user interfaces of our applications, using modern web development technologies. You will collaborate with a team of engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver an intuitive and user-friendly product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, reusable, and reliable front-end code for our web applications.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement design into the application features.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Work closely with the backend development team to integrate APIs and data services.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues as they arise and provide appropriate solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and advocate for their inclusion when beneficial to the product.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and distribute knowledge.
- Assist in the creation of software documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in front-end development.
- Strong proficiency in modern front-end web technologies, including JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, such as React or Angular.
- Knowledge of tools and best practices related to front-end development, like package managers, module bundlers, and version control systems (Git).
- Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha, Jest.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with GraphQL or RESTful API integration is a plus.
