Personal Care Assistant required to support outgoing and sociable 37 year old woman.

Personal Care Assistant required, supporting busy and outgoing 37 year old female living in Sonning Common, Rg4.
Full training will be given.
Tasks include:
Personal Care, Manual Handling (client specific technique - training given), Washing, Cleaning (light), Cooking, Assisting with some physical aspects of childcare - daughter is currently 9 years old, Assisting to, from and at work, Assisting at social activities.
The regular shift pattern is 1 week on, 1 week off. PAs on average only need to be available for 13 hours per day (and then available to call back in an emergency) on a one week on, one week off basis. This includes weekends.
Flexibility is required in regards to working hours as support to socialise is sometimes required into evening.
Flexibility to provide sick cover also essential.
The successful applicant will need to stay overnight twice in their week to provide evening/night support (night shift rate paid) or can choose to live in while on shift if preferred. Night support may include support to shower, attend social events and turn once in bed (rare) .
**PLEASE NOTE - THERE IS A ROOM AVAILABLE WHEN ON SHIFT BUT LOCAL APPLICANTS HAVE THE OPTION TO RETURN HOME WHEN NOT REQUIRED TO STAY OVERNIGHT. MEALS PROVIDED.***
Experience is not necessary but ability to pick up routine quickly is essential.
Please note this is a physical role requiring the employee to support with a physical manual handling technique while on their knees. Demonstration video will be supplied to shortlisted candidates.
£158 per day and £76 50 per sleepover/emergency evening call back, plus holiday pay. PAYE. Pension available. Drivers preferred but non drivers will be considered if able to access public transport.
Start time is around 6.30am daily with some later starts at weekends.
