We are looking for a friendly, well-organised and adaptable AO Front Office Co-Ordinator to join our encouraging and welcoming team of dedicated military and civilian healthcare professionals and Administrative staff working within the Neptune Medical Centre.

Job description
The Medical Centre at Neptune provides primary healthcare to eligible military personnel within its Area of Responsibility. Services available include daily General Practitioner (GP) clinics, dispensary, physiotherapy, immunisations, audiology, minor surgery, Medical Category (MEDCAT) reviews, various Occupational Health services and Mental Health clinics.
The Front Office Co-ordinator will be working as part of the Medical Centre team and will be responsible for the provision of efficient and effective administrative support to the clinical team with a strong focus on the business need. The postholder may, from time to time, be required to undertake reception duties.
Person specification
Main details of the role include but are not limited to:
Supporting DPHC Neptune in the delivery of a safe and effective primary healthcare service within the firm base at unit level in order to enhance and sustain operational effectiveness in accordance with the Service Level Agreement.
Ensuring that all patients and visitors to the medical centre are welcomed, phones are answered promptly, and enquiries dealt with politely, sympathetically, and efficiently. Ensure that all compliments and complaints are passed directly to the PM or BSM.
- Completing all administrative tasks associated with Subject Access Requests (SARs) received into the Medical Centre in the absence of the Front Office Leading Medical Assistant (LMA). Ensure that appropriate response timelines are met.
- Ensuring scanning of all patient documentation onto the DMICP record is completed by the administration (admin) team within agreed timescales, reporting any issues to Practice Manager (PM) or Business Support Manager (BSM).
- Provide administrative support for clinical teams in screening and long-term condition recall process.

Selection process details
There is no requirement to deploy as this is met by our uniformed personnel, but you will form the continuity of care required by our patients when based at home.
Travel to interview costs will not be reimbursed.
To be eligible to be considered for this role, qualifications and memberships detailed must be held in full, prior to submitting your application.
