Job description
We are looking for a Production Assistant to assist the Management Team at Jellyfish Pictures organise calendars, client visits, operational assistance and helping with development tests and pitches.
You’ll be working closely with the Managing Director, Senior Animation Management team and Producers to aid day to day organisation of the studio, organising showcases and events for the Animation team as a whole, helping organise client visits and travel, as well as own the central Animation calendar for standardised meetings across the business.
Responsibilities
- Owning Animation Management Calendars and standardised bookings across projects and operations,
- Helping to organise client visits, including agendas, screening room support and diary management,
- Stepping in where needed on smaller projects, pitches and tests to support the creative team,
- Helping to facilitate Jellyfish Pictures social events, screenings and teambuilding events,
- Being the point person for support and requests from Senior Management,
- Working with the Editorial team to support screening room bookings, projector setup and technical guidance.
Requirements
- 'Can do’ attitude, ready to face a diverse but exciting set of responsibilities and challenges,
- A calm and calculated approach to calendar management across the senior Animation team,
- Ability to engage with the wider animation team as a whole to help cultivate the Jellyfish ethos,
- Experience with scheduling in some capacity within the Animation or VFX industry,
- Experience facing clients, and confidence to engage with high profile creative and production teams across the world,
- An ambition to develop with the company, with the capacity to evolve the role/move into Production roles in the future.
