Animation Officer
Salary: Grade 5(£24,285 – £27,929 p.a. depending on experience)
This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Are you a skilled animator with up to date knowledge of current and emerging visual effects technologies? Do you have proven experience of working in both 2D and 3D? Do you have an interest in working with emergent immersive technologies?

We are seeking a skilled animator who has an innovative and creative approach to exploiting motion graphics and animation techniques for use in video, web, and immersive media. You will join an established production team consisting of multi-media, animation and design experts, and you will work collaboratively within this team to support the creation of unique, immersive and transformative user experiences.
The production team will be based in a brand new facility which is dedicated to accelerating digital learning at the University, giving access to cutting edge multi-media and design facilities. You will help the team to shape new and engaging learning journeys through the development of animations and motion graphics to enhance the work of our Course Design Team, and support the ambitions of the University to develop immersive technology solutions for educational advancement.
This exciting role will suit a dynamic individual with proven experience of animation and design, accompanied by excellent communication and organisational skills.
