An exciting opportunity has opened for an Accounts Assistant who will join our Finance team in ensuring all the account payable tasks are done accurately and in a timely manner.
The role will include:
- Processing a high volume of supplier invoices on a timely basis with correct coding across all entities.
- Ensuring that expenses are approved, accurately coded, and pay on time.
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Manage Accounts Payable inbox, ensuring all correspondence is answered in a timely manner and any issues are highlighted to your manager.
- Ensuring the approval process is working as expected
- Reconciling credit card statements with the receipts.
- Creating new suppliers accurately.
- Processing payment run from the system
- Provide ad hoc support to Finance operations as required
We are looking for someone who:
- Willing to learn and develop within the company
- Show an interest for finance
- Basic understanding of accounting
- Superb verbal and written communication skills
- Self-organized, methodical, and promoter of ‘we can do anything’ mind-set
- A problem solver, pragmatic, ambitious, and a team player
