Job description
The Margaret Green Animal Rescue, Lincoln Farm centre in Winterborne Kingston, Blandford, Dorset has a part time vacancy for the position of Animal Welfare Worker.
The centre rescues relinquished, stray and abandoned dogs. The role includes delivering the highest standards of animal welfare, training and rehabilitating the rescue dogs, providing help and support to members of the public both on the phone and in person and maintaining database and paper records. This role is physically demanding and requires spending the majority of the day on your feet.
The successful applicant should have a qualification in animal care and/or experience working with dogs and good customer service and communication skills. A full current driving license is preferable.
22.5 hours per week, to include working weekends.
