Salary - £19,838 - £10.90 ph from April 2023
Full Time 35 Hours Per Week (Sunday - Thursday) - Please note throughout training this position will be working Monday - Friday
Sunday - 8:00 am - 1:00 pm or 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Job Summary
To assist in the day to day welfare and maintenance of animal colonies within a barrier production area, to include, colony management, husbandry and animal order processing (will also include occasional weekend and Bank Holiday work on a rota system).
Demonstrate strict compliance with bio-security, Home Office, AAALAC and Production processes/guidelines identifying and initiating own training/retraining where required
Education/Ability
- 3 GCSE at level C or equivalent
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly with other members of the team.
- Good personal organisation.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Numeracy.
- Commitment to excellence.
- Ability to work under strict hygiene conditions.
- Must have own means of transport.
