We are a family-owned business and we are passionate about creating an environment that enables people to succeed in their roles. Our store in Motherwell features livestock and supplies for pets including Reptiles & Aquatics. This exciting role will be based in our unit at 58-60 Albert Street Motherwell. This will be to join our existing team and work in store, caring for livestock, stocking up the store, serving customers, amongst other tasks. The role would include helping customers in-store and online with any questions they may have. You will also need to be capable of keeping documentation that relates to suppliers’ orders and animal welfare. We would expect the successful candidate to have experience in a similar environment and have relevant skills/certification. Skills required Must have a high work ethic Must be capable of tending to all animals including aquaria and reptiles Must be competent in English and Maths and ICT Must be able to demonstrate knowledge from a previous role Must be able to hit KPI’s set. Must be a team player Must be able to be flexible as shift patterns can change due to holidays and other factor job is mostly weekends.
Weekend Shifts. Store opening hours 10 -5pm mon-sat & 11am-4pm Sunday this may reduce during summer hours. National Minimum wage or above dependant on age and experience. Overtime & Opportunities to take part in our events work as well staff discounts. Opportunities to take part in extra training.
