Job description
We are seeking a Kennel Hand to cover maternity leave but also may lead to permanent . The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and have a good understanding in working with large and difficult breeds. Must have the ability to work as part of a team and on their own and physically fit . You must be able to listen, follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines. Responsibilities:- Cleaning and maintaining kennels- Feeding and watering animals, administering medication as directed by the veterinarian, Walking and exercising dogs, keeping records of the dogs well-being, assisting with pet grooming on occasions, and also have excellent customer service skills. Must have a driving licence as not on a bus route. Previous experience with working with animals and have qualifications in animal care. The hours will be 20hrs over 7 days (8am-12 noon) .
Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
