Grooming Assistant / Animal Care Assistant
Part time, Permanent Position
The work involves all aspects of Animal husbandry in a quiet Private Licensed home based environment.
Duties are many and varied, cleaning, feeding, Grooming, admin, photography, administration of meds, vet trips etc.
Hours are 9am - 2pm Flexi-time. 12-16hrs per week flexi-time.
All aspects of training, PPE, and uniform will be provided.
The successful applicant will be joining a dynamic team in an expanding business. Will love animals, have no allergies, be committed to delivering duty of animal care to the very Highest Standards. Have an excellent understanding of Animal Welfare. Possess good communication, problem solving, multi-tasking skills and the ability to work on own initiative have a pleasant attitude and conscientious work ethic. Live Locally. Previous Kennel, Cattery or work in the animal related sector preferred. Grooming experience is also preferred. Animal Care or Grooming City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications preferred.
NOTE: A clean driving license and access to a reliable vehicle is essential as is the Flexibility to cover any shift over 7 days.
