Customer Service Advisor – Travel Claims

£21,500 - £25,500 per annum

Charles Taylor Assistance is one of the leading global providers of medical assistance, travel risk and claims management services. We support over 5 million customers every year and 170,000 travel claims. We are expanding our Customer Service team and we are now looking for number of Customer Service Advisors who have natural empathy and a flair for making a difference to our travel customers.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will assess customer claims against their policies to ensure that claims are quickly paid. To do this, you will enjoy speaking to people on the telephone, have a good eye for detail, and enjoy multi-tasking. Customer service experience is helpful but not essential as full training will be provided. We also offer fantastic opportunities for learning, development, and career progression.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Accurately assess and pay valid claims in line with policy terms
  • Provide an empathetic approach for all our Claims customers
  • Provide the customer with clear guidance to ensure that the claim process is first class

Experience and knowledge:

  • Confident speaking to people on the phone
  • Highly organised under pressure with good attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task - switching between telephone calls and customer emails
  • Ability to apply logical rules
  • Ability to convey information in a simple and clear manner
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within Insurance or Claims is essential

Salary and Benefits:
