Job description
4 Kingdoms is looking for a hardworking, experienced and dedicated animal keeper to join our expanding animal department; to keep our animal enclosures clean and tidy; helping with lambing and other animal births; ensure all animals are fed and food stores are kept up to date; all while ensuring the standards of our animal barn are kept up to date.
You’ll be very approachable and at ease with both adults and children. Flexible and available to work weekends and bank holidays. Have a great personality, passionate and committed to great customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining standards within our animal barn
- Cleaning and looking after the animals
- Feeding animals
- Moving animals around the farm
- Helping with animal births
- Keeping the stock of animal food up to date and ensuring management know when it is getting low
- Flexible approach, prepared to help in any area when required
- Able to follow instructions but also able to react and use own initiative
- Work as part of a team
- Working within other areas of the farms if the need arises
- Talking to customers
- Helping with school visits
- Explaining what is going on in the barn
- Cleaning and looking after the animals
- Feeding animals
- Comfortable using a microphone for presenting talks
- Flexible approach, prepared to help in any area when required
- Able to follow instructions but also able to react and use own initiative
- Work as part of a team
- Working within other areas of the farms if the need arises

- Animal care: 1 year (preferred)
