Skye's Pet Care Ltd. is a small but growing animal care company, that is training & welfare motivated. Our main services are dog walking, training, sitting & grooming, but we offfer much more!
Our goal is to grow our rescue efforts, promote & provide high welfare standards for our clients, all whilst creating a better, more comfortable working environment than we ever saw in the animal field. We need to grow our team to comfortably and safely accomodate for the growing demand as well as allow for the improvement & management of all other avenues of the business.
All new employees will need to complete a training programme including but not limited to: Canine First Aid, Canine Body Language course, basic company training programme. All employees will also need a clear DBS check & prefferably they will have a full UK driving liscence, animal qualifications & working experience.

We are looking for an confident, experienced and passionate Care Assistant OR animal handler, who can help us continue to offer positive & accomodating services for our clients. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience working with dog's, animal related qualifications, eager to grow their skills & knowledge, and is capable of providing exceptional care and communication in their work. A successful candidate will have confidence working with dog's, have good communication skills, have drive and have a commitment for saftey, care & training. This is a fast paced work enviroment, looking for an energetic & trustworthy individual, we are happy to mould our job roles to fit our employees current ability & availability, preferences & confidence level in order to find a role within our company that best suits & most benefits both our employees and the company equally.
Oppertunities & Responsibilities available:
- Assisting with training, grooming, cat drop-ins and larger group walks.
- Supervising & managing the behaviour of specifically well formulated dog packs always providing an appropriate level of care and supervision relevant to each individual dogs behavioural & wlefare needs.
- Being a confident leader & driver.
- Being good at taking pictures & videos!
- Admin.
- Being aware of good practices and following necessary procedures & risk assesments in order to maintain a high standard of saftey and care throughout.
- Communicating clearly to the updates team as needed.

Salary: £9.00-£10.00 per hour
