About this opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) team in our People and Places function (P&P). The purpose of our team is to deliver material impact for the organisation through SWP by partnering across various areas of P&P and the business to mature an effective and robust Strategic Workforce Plan. We’ll use SWP to ensure we have the right people with the right skills in the right place at the right time to deliver our strategy. This is a developing area which is key to supporting the Group’s strategic journey and the future of the LBG workforce.
Working with the Analytics & Insight Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and developing aspects of the Group’s Strategic Workforce Planning and Analytics capability. You’ll contribute to setting a directional view of the 5-year rolling workforce plan, underpinned by data driven insight into specific areas of the business, critical roles and critical skills.
You'll work with the SWP team to understand the data and analytics needs and to develop automated analytics and visualisations to help inform effective strategic decision making within the SWP space. You will also be responsible for developing models and approaches that help us test and plan a variety of scenarios and interventions to ensure we are making the best workforce choices to build the skills of the future.
You'll work collaboratively across the People and Places team and wider Group to drive broad planning and intelligence around how, when and where skills will be required and sourced.
What you'll be doing
    • Contribute to building data-driven Strategic Workforce Planning models, which identify future skills and the interlock of this with our location strategy.
  • Analyse and model the data to provide insights and credible interventions.
  • Support in developing and implementing long-term plans to acquire and / or develop required skills and capabilities
  • Work collaboratively with the Centres of Excellence to inform and design recruitment, talent management and reskilling analytics and modelling, driving the Group’s overall Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and contributing to the development of a skills-based organisation.
  • Work closely with the Future Workplace team to develop insight which ensures LBG has a presence in key locations for talent now and in the future.
  • Continually focus on your own development to ensure that you are working at your best.
  • Take an active interest in the external development in Strategic Workforce Planning analytics and models and Talent Market Insights to develop and support the delivery of our strategy
