Role Summary

Aubay is seeking a talented Qlik Sense Consultant. The Analytics Engineer will work closely with our key stakeholders in both business and IT to help narrate stories with data and visualize insights in a compelling and insightful way that enables business decision-making. The Associate Analytics Engineer will be expected to design and build analytics solutions. This person is also key in modularizing IT Solutions and delivering them on time while adhering to design and development principles.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design, build and implement POCs, prototypes and full-fledged UX solutions and strategies.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders to clarify requirements and promote UX designs and solutions.
  • Support the design, e.g., by analysing user journeys and driving towards simplification and automation.
  • Enable high-quality & compelling storytelling through the creation of strong, simple-to-understand data visualizations.
  • Document technical solution design and strategy documentation.
  • Run a quality assessment of a counterpart’s design.
  • Coach and develop other UX analysts.
  • Adhere to the Company´s Release and Change process.
  • Pursue knowledge enhancement.

Required Skills

  • Skilled at one of the following secondary visualization tools - (at least one of the following – (1)Qlik Sense, (2) Spotfire, (3) SAP Analytics Cloud).
  • Knowledge of cloud data engineering technologies.

Education & Qualification

  • University degree in any IT discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the IT industry.
  • Expected Skills.
  • Knowledge of and experience with design & prototyping tools.
  • Expert knowledge of Data visualization tools (Qlik Sense and Qlik view).
  • Skilled in authoring/troubleshooting SQL queries.
  • Expert knowledge and application of general and tool-specific connectivity, data modelling, source data procurement strategies (Database, import/cached), security configuration, performance tuning, usage of right visuals, layout optimization, mobility, scripting and integrating advanced analytics into visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of upcoming trends in tools and technology.
  • Familiarity with user-centred design and testing methodologies and usability and accessibility concerns.
  • Communication Skills to engage technical developers, architects, and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and good at taking the initiative. Innovative and able to guide junior team members.
  • Must have experience in working with AGILE and KANBAN methodologies.
