As a PDD Data Scientist, you are responsible for delivery and/or leadership of molecule and device products in our pipeline on a level that is matching your experience. You’ll support the strategic and analytical direction of our PDD products by driving and supporting key aspects of our portfolio to create maximum impact to the global organization, directly and indirectly supporting our pipeline and ultimately our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Analytical Data Scientist, you will provide analytical and programming expertise and/or leadership support for the reporting and analysis of clinical trials and related submissions to Health Authorities worldwide.
You are expected to be skilled in creating analytical and data applications that can be used across different products.
Technical Qualifications
Expertise in R, SAS, python and/or other programming languages.
Expertise in writing reusable functions and packages.
Knowledge of modern version control systems and software development techniques
Good understanding of clinical data and knowledge of CDISC data standards
Understanding of open source software development
Expertise in manipulating and analyzing various data types related to clinical trials, including digital health, genomic and biomarkers
Experience in transforming, organizing and analyzing healthcare data
General Qualifications
College/University degree – bachelor degree or higher or equivalent education in scientific, medical or relevant technical discipline.
Understanding of the end-to-end drug development lifecycle, particularly as relevant to the Specialty of interest.
Track record of establishing successful internal partnerships and collaborations.
Influential and confident communicator
Demonstrates experience or is adaptable to utilizing and/or models modern ways of working consistent with an agile and growth mindset, and agile behaviors and methodologies.
Fluency in written and spoken English
Ability to work across multiple cultures and countries
Willingness to travel as required
Preferred
Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
Knowledge of GCP, international regulations, guidelines and their application, and all other applicable compliance standards
