Macquarie AirFinance is seeking a top-tier graduate or early-career analyst, to join the Corporate Finance team of a global aviation lessor. As part of a close-knit team, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the aircraft leasing business and take ownership of meaningful projects that will inform the firm's investment and capital strategy. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, self-motivated team player with a strong interest in learning about the industry and growing their corporate finance and capital markets experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform financial and valuation analysis including discounted cash flows
- Conduct due diligence on currently held assets, potential investment opportunities, and divestments
- Compose presentation materials for the management committee to review deal transactions
- Present analyses for management consideration
- Perform research and prepare presentations on industry trends
- Maintain transaction information and conduct monthly portfolio reporting
- Assist with updating various financial models for the team
- Support corporate strategic development

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in one of these areas: Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or closely related quantitative fields; 0 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excel modelling skills are essential, as is advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with VBA and Bloomberg would be an advantage.
