We’re very keen on ‘different voices’, opinions and approaches too. Applicants with passion, experience or a qualification in the areas of environmental science (net zero), physics, social value/sciences, psychology, anthropology, urban culture and micro-economics will all be welcomed.

We have a flexible working policy, actively encourage home based working with an option for you to choose office based when and if required. We also support hot desking and outreach research work on projects. We also encourage and support outside learning and advanced academic pursuit.

The roles
Economic and Place Core Team
Working across a wide range of place making and economic development projects the core team are the beating heart of our business. Working as part of the core team offers the chance to both develop and impact broadly across multiple strands of work and to develop as a specialist on a particular area of focus.
What we are looking for:
Analyst (place, economics and environment)
Our Analysts are the foundation of our firm. We look for people who are analytical, inquisitive, positive, ‘lifelong learners’, problem solvers and who enjoy a challenge. They must have excellent written and data analysis skills or it will be a struggle.

We look for core skills and particular attitudes over experience and specific qualifications. That said, an undergraduate degree is a must. Our previous research consultants have been physicists, criminologists and geographers!
You must have a passion for people and places and as part of our accelerated advancement programme you must have an ambition to become a consultant or a specialist advisor within two years. There are openings across our economic, environment, culture, social value and strategy teams. After year one you will have the option to specialise, if desired.
Salary level: £25K-30K + Bonus
