Cyber Security
This role is an exciting opportunity to join us and work within our Cyber Fusion Centre (CFC) team, who are a team of security professionals working hard to proactively to protect Sky from cyber related threats.
What you'll do
- Deploy and maintain Cyber Security Detection, Prevention and Monitoring technologies within Sky’s On-Premise and Cloud infrastructure, focusing on the implementation of pioneering endpoint EDR security technologies, applying a risk-based approach for testing and introduction into the overall environment
- Design and deploy Cyber Security Detection, Prevention and Monitoring technologies within Sky’s Cloud and Container infrastructure platforms
- Work within a team of security engineering professionals responsible for planning, design, implementation, attack prevention and mitigation and ongoing support of security systems of high complexity to fulfil security requirements without impacting business needs.
- Assist with Audit and Compliance assessments associated with Sky Cyber Security standards
- Collaborate with colleagues in technology departments as well as the business and product offices to establish effective, productive business relationships
What you'll bring
- Experience in designing, deploying, and/or supporting enterprise-scale security solutions
- Knowledge of Operating systems internals, hardening, and supervising (Windows, MacOS and UNIX).
- Knowledge of TCP/IP network fundamentals
- knowledge of scripting languages (shell, python) is a plus
- Experience of Cyber Security Detection, Prevention and Monitoring technologies such as EDR, NDR and Network Security
- Relevant security certifications such as OSCP, ISC2 CISSP, SANS, CEH, etc. are a major plus
- Good understanding of REST API’s
