Job Title: Analyst – Commercial London Valuation
Location: London
Role Purpose:
To assist the Commercial London Valuation team in providing analytical support. This is a role for an ambitious individual to continue to develop and enhance the team. The role will involve collating, interpreting, analysing and presenting data to clients with large volume of asset and tenant portfolios in the most efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysing valuation data and highlighting changes and potential impacts on value.
- Setting up, preparing and updating valuations in Argus Enterprise - Capitalisation and Developer. Data input and extraction and preparing bespoke analysis of valuation information.
- Create, modify and audit existing financial models to ensure accuracy and efficiency is maintained.
- Run valuation reporting via Discovery package.
- Creation of Bubble Charts.
- Attribution and Argonaut analysis.
- Fund administration and valuation support.
- Maintaining existing client trackers.
- Gathering market information and collation of schedules.
- Support colleagues to meet specific client requirements.
- Interpret instructions, assessing required timescales and potential issues, seeking help and advice appropriately.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, verbally and in writing.
- To support an expanding team in its business development objectives and continued growth in revenue.
Person Specification/Requirements
- Highly numerate and ability to grasp complex investment scenarios.
- Maintains a positive attitude towards routine tasks.
- Good communication skills and ability to explain investment fundamentals.
- Strong modelling skills, combined with good understanding of underlying cash flow principles.
- Advanced Excel skills required, knowledge of VBA not mandatory.
- Organised and ability to deal with a number of concurrent instructions.
- High attention to detail.
- Team player who can support colleagues and clients.
- Ability to work in fast paced dynamic environment.
