The role: Analyst, Sustainability, Agribusiness Research

The Team: We are currently looking for a Sustainability Analyst to join S&P Global Commodity Insights’ dynamic Agribusiness Research, to help driving Agribusiness Sustainability data and research.

The Impact: Agribusiness group offers data and research solutions on major crops and food commodities, fertilizers, biofuels, crop science and animal health.

Work schedule: Full time

The Role : We are seeking an Analyst able to develop and drive research and insights in Sustainability in Agribusiness to support our customer base on their sustainability journey. These include researching, gathering data and developing insights on ESG trends and risks in Agribusiness, regulatory frameworks, emissions, and carbon negative opportunities for the industry.

Responsibilities: We are searching for people that are passionate about sustainability and would like to join an international agribusiness team of like-minded people, driven to deliver excellence. You are applying for a dynamic career path within a passionate and fast paced environment. More specifically, responsibilities include:

Perform sound market analysis in Sustainability in Agribusiness
Harness existing data sets, identify new data sets for collection and analysis and conduct rigorous reviews of the quality of that information
Engage with customers and potential customers, demonstrating expertise and acting as ambassador for S&P Global pursuit of analytical excellence
Develop and deliver presentations and thought leadership on topics around Sustainability in Agribusiness

What We're Looking For:
A completed Master’s degree, ideally with some specialized courses related to ESG policy and regulations, environmental/agronomic management, sustainable agriculture, carbon credit markets
Experience of working in sustainability in a corporate environment is preferred
Strong analytical skills with an acute attention to detail
Strong project management skills
Excellent spoken and written English skills
