JOB DESCRIPTION


This role is designed for a fluent Japanese and English speaker with interest and some experience in Fixed Income. The role would be based in New York City and ultimately a part of the Global Rates Sales department.

Job summary

  • This is a highly impactful Rates Sales role focusing on Japanese and other Financial Institutions for Fixed Income products
  • Specific products include U.S. Treasuries, Mortgage-Backed Securities, Rates Derivatives, Repo, and Credit Products

Job responsibilities

  • Daily writing and discussing of market trends, themes and color with clients
  • Trade execution
  • Trade booking and recaps
  • Partnering with Trading to provide best-in-class market liquidity
  • Partnering with Research to provide trade ideas as well as on general market and industry developments impacting Financial Institutions
  • Strong understanding of Controls and Compliance rules, and candidates must operate with a high level of integrity

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • College degree required
  • Fluent in both Japanese and English
  • Expertise in U.S. fixed income is required
  • Series 7 and 63

  • Ability to handle pressure and deliver results
