About the Role
Fendercare is in the process of rolling out Netsuite across its global operations. A need has been identified to support the development of both the initial implementation and the wider roll out across the business. In addition, the role will support further development of the software across an agreed pipeline of prioritised different business improvement projects over the coming years.
The role will be predominantly remote with periodic requirements to visit various sites for teamworking to design, develop and implement the agreed system developments.Save
Role Responsibilities
- Working with the business to design, document, prioritise and implement solutions to business problems and processes by using Netsuite functionalities and customisations including: SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteQL etc
- To utilise your inherent conceptual understanding of CRM, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, WBS structures, Inventory and Financial modules to define effective and efficient technical solutions to business problems.
- To be the interface point for Netsuite between the business, Group IT, and third-party support providers for Netsuite and associated application support.
- Support training and knowledge transfer to the Business Analyst and other ‘super’ users within the business, sharing knowledge, encouraging user self-service, and running training sessions wherever possible to broaden and deepen the understanding of the system across the business.
- To ensure that legacy systems data access is consolidated with Netsuite data and sufficiently maintained and accessible.
- Regular review and progress reporting of the prioritized development funnel and update on progress periodically including identification of corrective actions as appropriate.
- Implementation of Netsuite best practices.
- To continually review and improve data flows and design to ensure minimal points of failure within the data design architecture.
- To stay abreast of further Netsuite development and identify opportunities for improving our Netsuite deployment.
- Any other ad hoc responsibilities as required from time to time.
- Previous experience developing NetSuite.
- Experience of both SuiteScript 1.0/ 2.0 as well as general JavaScript programming.
- Good knowledge of HTML/CSS for maintaining Advanced PDF/HTML forms.
- Hands on experience of saved searches, workflows, custom forms, custom fields and custom records.
- Comfortable maintaining code written by others.
- Good documentation skills.
- Good diagnostic and analytical skills.
- Able to work on own initiative. E.g., to understand the consequences of implementing a change on the business process and unforeseen consequences on the wider system.

- Highly personable individual with excellent relationship building and communication skills, able to translate technical IT jargon for non-IT colleagues.
- Experience of working within a publicly listed company operating in both Services and Products an advantage
