Asset and Wealth Management Division includes Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), Private Wealth Management (PWM) and our Consumer business (Marcus by Goldman Sachs). We provide asset management, wealth management and banking expertise to consumers and institutions around the world. AWM partners with various teams across the firm to help individuals and institutions navigate changing markets and take control of their financial lives.

The purpose of the European Shareholder Services team is to provide World Class Client Service to Investors in the GSAM Offshore Funds and to assist the GSAM Sales force in their Global Funds distribution effort. Within European Shareholder Services, Client Onboarding works with clients investing GSAM's Offshore funds from the decision to invest through to funding, ensuring a smooth and seamless onboarding process.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Acting as the subject matter expert for multiple Sales channels to coordinate successful KYC refreshes of high profile and strategically important client relationships
- End to end understanding of onboarding process including KYC, AML, Due Diligence, Distribution Agreements
- Coordination of complex KYC reviews involving sensitive client relationships
- Developing a clear understanding of bespoke client requirements and offering guidance on what is operationally supportable
- Monitoring processes and escalating to Financial Crime Compliance and Senior Management as appropriate
- Ongoing review and maintenance of internal policies and procedures with a view to increasing automation, scalability, and outsourcing of tasks to external vendors with appropriate controls and cost efficiencies
- Researching and identifying inefficiencies and driving enhancements
- Ensuring regulatory and company compliance standards are met and changes successfully coordinated amongst appropriate teams
- Provision of management/board reporting, and information for ad-hoc management requests
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of KYC, AML, CRS, Due Diligence, Distribution Agreements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Offshore Funds administration and Compliance standards
- Ideally some experience in business/financial industry experience and exposure to dealing in funds domiciled in different regions
- Knowledge of financial markets and products
- ICA or similar qualification an advantage but not required
