£12.00 per hour, full time 36 hours per week flexible e.g., 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm
Due to a new depot move and expansion scheme, NorWest Medical are delighted to announce we have new opportunity for an ambulance station caretaker to provide essential support for ambulance crews who deliver NHS contract work, event work, and for our on-site training centre. We need a dynamic, creative, highly organised person to join our team who will ensure that we maintain the high standard of our facilities, including overseeing stock levels and vehicles, to support our clinical service delivery.

The role includes ensuring all vehicle are fully stocked for deployment, dropping off and collecting vehicles, and on occasion, meeting crew members off-site to provide essential equipment or exchange vehicles.
Another key part of the role is to ensure that stock is kept within the minimum and maximum levels both at base and within the vehicles, ordering new stock as required. The stock must be kept in line with requirements set out by the manufacturer and the stock areas should always remain neat and tidy. There will be a requirement to perform ad-hoc cleaning tasks when our cleaners are not on-site and effective management of clinical waste.
As part of the team, they will work with colleagues to ensure that the NorWest values of equality, inclusiveness, integrity, respect and exemplary service are upheld. They will assist in induction days for new crew members and meet and greet crew and visitors in a professional well-presented manner, in approach and appearance and will be a key holder - responsible for opening and closing of the site.
We want an ambitious individual who will care passionately about our what we do in providing a service to our patients and training delegates. We need you to have a flexible approach and excellent problem solving and prioritisation skills. It is expected you can maintain patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations, whilst being thorough and paying attention to detail. We are happy to consider candidates from a variety of backgrounds, related to healthcare or not, but you will have to have a C1 driving license and evidence all of the required competences and show that you care about delivering a second to none service, the way that we do.
