Job description

We're looking for an Amazon expert to elevate our marketplace success and drive growth through developing and executing online retail strategies. Managing the day to day runnings of our Amazon Marketplace platform for all of our brands, focusing on driving profitability through optimisation and other Amazon specific opportunities.

On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for optimising Amazon product listings and our storefront as well as running and monitoring our Amazon ads to ensure profitability and increased revenue. This will involve managing all cases in Amazon Seller Central as well as managing FBA inventory. You will work directly with the Marketing Manager & Directors spotting opportunities for improvement and effectively troubleshooting when necessary.

You will create a solid data focused strategy with the sole purpose of driving revenue, new customer acquisition and customer retention. You will be commercially aware and responsible for setting ambitious yet achievable targets for Amazon in line with the business’ overall commercial objectives.

User experience is at the heart of what you do, you will be responsible for further developing the user journey, digging deep into existing techniques and strategies whilst spearheading company wide objectives. You will keep a finger on the pulse of changes to the platform to ensure our listings are optimised and our strategy is aligned.

You will utilise Amazon tools to drive further revenue, including: subscribe & save, advertising, promotions and Prime Days. You will work alongside the wider team for creation of assets, content, finance and logistics, and you will forge strong relationships with our Amazon account manager following best sales practices.

Here’s some vital information and a snapshot of what you need to do...

  • Manage all aspects of a successful Amazon account which include, A+ content, A/B testing, signposting, brand registry, protect against infringements, buy-box optimisation, promotions, increase product reviews, respond to positive/negative feedback, manage ASIN, Fix stranded inventory, Stock levels and Hazmat.
  • Troubleshoot and deal with Vendor Central, Seller Central and FBA interfaces with shortage claims, chargebacks, Reimbursements, case management, Ungating and Regulation changes.
  • Maintain and Grow revenue by launching product range through Amazon FBA, PAN FBA and International stores, to include the management and maintenance of branded store front.
  • Have a good understanding of and the Implementation of Subscribe & Save, as well as advertising, promotions and Prime Days to increase sales.
  • Manage, Maintain and monitor inventory levels on Amazon and process replenishment of stock through Supply chain and shipping.

The essentials!

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role (must have Amazon Seller Central / Vendor Central / FBA experience)
  • Extensive experience working PAN FBA (required)
  • Extensive experience conducting SEO research on Amazon listings
  • Expertise in managing Amazon PPC strategies
  • Knowledge with Amazon FBA best practices
  • Experienced in managing and delivering a large number of SKUs
  • Proactive problem solver with initiative and the ability to form client-specific strategies
  • Expert understanding of Amazon KPIs and what drives success on Amazon
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple and concurrent projects
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, MS Excel, MS Word, and/or PowerPoint
  • Good time-management skills along with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to learn fast and adapt with an overall drive to succeed
  • A creative thinker and team player

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing product catalogues, ensuring products are listed quickly and accurately across all marketplaces
  • Translating company wide marketing campaigns from the marketing calendar through to Amazon
  • Data-led approach to finding and prioritising growth opportunities
  • Liaise with the wider marketing team and digital marketing specialists to ensure marketplace and sales channel strategies are successfully implemented.
  • Plan and update pricing and product data structure across multiple product types, including analysis of price lists and comparisons of competitors offerings
  • Manage all listings, content, and service aspects
  • Ensure that all relevant listings are marketed online with the highest possible visibility
  • Generate weekly & monthly reports to feed back KPI progress to the business and identify actionable insights.
