Job description

Major Players are looking for an experienced Amazon Account Manager to add to a rapidly expanding marketing team.

***FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE KNOWLEDGE ON SELLER CENTRAL***

This role centres around overseeing and improving the UK marketplace performance.

Having recently taken the decision to inhouse, and build their very own Amazon team, this is a great opportunity for someone who is comfortable challenging and improving current processes to help drive the Amazon channel forward.

Role responsibilities:

  • Stock management: Highlighting any lines which are at risk of being OOS, stock forecasts based on run rates and YoY performance, shipment management & creation in conjunction with local warehouse, any missing unit reconciliation, liaising with other sales channels and Europe lead to ensure adequate stock is allocated.
  • Account maintenance: Creating, answering and pursuing any seller support cases, removing any negative account or product level reviews, answering any listing questions and responding to any customer support queries.
  • Listings & catalogue maintenance: Handling creation, health and updates of any new or existing listings. Liaising with design & SEO to improve where possible. Regularly checking the catalogue to maintain current listings.
  • SEO: Creation, or management of creation for titles, bullet points, descriptions and backend keywords to be updated seasonally to perform to maximum capacity.
  • Forecasting: Stock forecasting to ensure peak marketplace performance .
  • Communication & Reporting: Regularly liaising with warehouse, trading, finance, marketing and the internal Amazon teams to ensure peak marketplace performance.
  • Transition from agency led Account Management to inhouse

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Amazon infrastructure and Seller Central interface
  • Strong experience in stock management
  • SEO and copywriting know-how
  • Experience having sole ownership and responsibility over an ecommerce sales channel
  • Experienced with 7 day deals, lightning deals & promotions. Creation and maintenance of deals & promotions during peak times
  • Comfortable with using data to forecast for both sales and spend
  • Innovative and proactive
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Efficient time management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Some PPC experience would be beneficial
