We offer alternative provisions to support children with additional behavioural needs. The Support Worker will join our extensive pastoral team in order to promote and maintain excellent student behaviour and conduct across our alternative provisions. The role will include organising activities , managing behaviour throughout the school day, including break and lunch time, and taking the necessary steps. to support the young person to develop and flourish.
We are looking for a creative and energetic individual who can connect with the young people we work with, build long-term trusting relationships, and inspire them to engage in the educational programmes we provide. The young people we work with present with various specific educational needs, you will need a subtle blend of charisma and energy alongside quiet confidence to be able to engage the young people who have been referred to us by our partner organisations.
You will work on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis and will have the flexibility to use the fantastic outdoor venue to motivate and inspire the young people you will work with and support them to gain experience in a range of activities tailored to their Needs
