An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the College of Business and Social Sciences, to provide management and operational support within Aston Law School and the School of Social Sciences and Humanities. The post will manage and oversee the academic support coordinators within each of the two schools and their departments.
The post will work with stakeholders across the schools, the college and the University and with the Director of Operations to ensure high-quality service to staff and other stakeholders through coordinating the school’s approach to purchasing, facilities management & Health, and Safety.
You will be educated to a degree level and have experience in line management. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to analyse and present information. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently without close supervision and the ability to work as a member of a team.
The ability to work and prioritise under pressure and to approach tasks creatively and flexibly are essential in this role.
