ALM Insights Transformation Manager
London or Glasgow
As a Barclays ALM Insights Transformation Manager, you will join the Treasury Asset and Liability Management (ALM) Transformation programme, which is focused on the delivery of changes that will build enhancements required by BCBS368 regulation, improve the ALM control environment and create the capabilities to drive additional commercial value across ALM risk management and hedging activities. In your role, you will also work closely with the Treasury Transformation Lead and other business leads.

- Scanning the regulatory landscape, reviewing any changes and providing Barclays specific interpretation
- Having responsibility for specifying reporting requirements that satisfy regulatory and internal ALM risk reporting needs and obtaining the agreement of key stakeholders
- Ensuring all designs and change meet ALM control and governance expectations both in the short and long term
- Producing high quality documentation clearly communicating technical ALM risk management concepts
- Collaborating with the wider ALM, Technology and Transformation teams to establish a robust and efficient testing protocol to ensure that change meets agreed requirements, expectations
- Managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities to deliver a high level of service
- Engaging and influencing at all levels across the organisation, demonstrating good communication skills
- Working closely with teams across Treasury and Technology to deliver the Transform agenda for ALM
What we’re looking for:
- Prior experience in a IRRBB reporting role with an in-depth understanding of measurement techniques and hedging strategies
- Excellent awareness of the regulatory and control environment.
- Experience of documenting risk management frameworks
- Highly organised individual with attention to detail and effective, clear communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to engage and influence at a senior level across the organisation, demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Experience of large change programmes
- Ability to think creatively and challenge the norm.
- Good control mindset
