Deliver high performance standards around all aspects of airside ground handling and de-icing and, meeting the requirements of our customers and maintaining health and safety and overall good working practices in accordance to company policies and procedures at all times.
Candidate requirements
- On-load and off-load baggage manually or mechanically, in accordance with the relevant training received.
- Gather, input and process all data and documentation necessary for the fulfilment of the success of the operation, by manual, automated or computerised systems, including weather reporting.
- Undertake all relevant baggage sortation duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Carry out area hazard checks.
- Carry out aircraft inspections.
- Carry out equipment inspections.
- Report any faults or irregularities with equipment, facilities or processes to the appropriate management.
- Carry out Head-set duties, including communication with the flight deck, in accordance with the relevant training received.
- Operate position and remove company equipment, in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the relevant training received.
- Full De-icing duties as per seasonal requirements.
- Airside Driving.
- Aircraft Turnaround (all other associated duties)

- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of others who may be affected by their
- Co-operate with their manager / supervisor in order to allow them to perform or comply with any legal
- Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in the interests of
- Inform their manager / supervisor of any work situation, equipment or activity that represents a serious or
- Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents or dangerous occurrences to their manager /
- Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and
- Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
- Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company. Engage with MORSE and follow our code
Qualifications and Experience
- Basic Safety awareness
- Ability to work under strict time constraints
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
- Ability to work at height
- An awareness of potential dangers with the working environment
- Good customer service skills
- Good verbal communication
- Full and valid Driving licence
- A fully checkable 5-year work history
