As a full service station we provide passenger services to some of the worlds biggest and best airlines, where exceptional standards are expected all day, every day. And we're looking for a Duty officer to join our Front of House team.

As part of your role, you'll be focusing on (but not limited to):

  • Reporting into the Passenger Services Manager you will be responsible for the running of the shift in all areas including Check-in, Gate functions and Baggage Tracing.
  • Overseeing our front of house operation, you will focus on the safe and timely delivery of our services on behalf of our customer airlines.
  • Communication is key within our business and it’s expected that you will report any incidents or safety related matters in a clear and comprehensive manner.
  • You’ll produce daily shift reports for the senior management team, detailing the shift and highlighting areas of positivity, safety of staff related matters.
  • Customer service is key in this role and you will act as the highest point of contact on shift when working with passengers. You’ll lead by example and ensure that staff are meeting and exceeding the requirements set by our customer airlines.
  • You’ll be an ambassador for safety. Leading the way amongst our staff and leading by example. You’ll carry out daily audits on check-in and at gates which are then reported back to the Safety & Compliance Manager.

Requirements for the role include:

  • Strong Check-in and gate activities experience essential
  • Strong communicator both verbally and written, at all levels
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £35,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Supervisory / Middle management: 1 year (required)
  • aviation: 2 years (preferred)
