Contract Information:

  • Initial 24-month temporary employment contract
  • Permanent offer subject to successful completion of apprenticeship
  • Planned salary increases during programme at key milestones

About the Apprenticeship:

  • Apprentices will complete a Level 4 Aviation Operations Management Apprenticeship with Trafford College - Click here for more information.
  • Training will be a mix of practical and classroom-based learning.
  • This programme will specialise in Passenger Operations and feature modules on Ground Handling

About the Role:
You will work closely with the Operations Management team and other departments to gain a broad understanding of the airport operation. Throughout the program, you will have access to a range of training opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge further.

As you progress through the Airfield, Baggage Handling, Landside, and the Terminals, you will build a vast range of knowledge of Manchester Airport’s operations, all while developing a big network of colleagues from all around the business. An opportunity like this means that once you have completed your apprenticeship you will be a key asset in the operation with the ability to apply for internal positions that best fit you or for our internal management development programme.

Minimum Requirements:

  • You must have a minimum of 80 UCAS points (A Levels/ HND/HNC/ BTEC, or other equivalent).
  • A medical check will be needed for this role – this will be arranged by Manchester Airport.
