The Airfield Small Works Manager (Electrical) will manage the smaller by spend Electrical Engineering projects associated with Airfield Infrastructure, whilst working within the Developments & Construction Directorates frameworks.
The role will ensure the CAPEX investment remains within the standards set for BAL on time, cost & quality.
The role will also be a key stakeholder of the larger investment projects being delivered by the Development & Constructure Directorate within the Airfield Operations Directorate, providing the governance for the scope, development, delivery and in service of such investment.The role is responsible for leading and managing a range of Airfield Electrical projects to deliver the strategic aims and objectives that align to the Birmingham Airport Master Plan. The Airfield Small Works Manager (Electrical) will have a collaborative style with a strong focus on delivery.
There will be a range of projects within the Airfield Capital Investment Programme ranging in value, all of which require excellent stakeholder engagement to ensure the requirements are fully understood and the scope is defined. The role includes working closely with members of the Airfield Operations, & Development teams, as well as suppliers, and wide range of stakeholders to manage the delivery of a number of projects to ensure safe, effective, efficient delivery. This includes ensuring compliance to Health and Safety Legislation, in particular the Construction Design Management (CDM) regulation 2015, contract management and administration.
