Staff Nurse – Adult Intensive Care Unit
Cromwell Hospital, Kensington, SW5 0TU (5 mins walk from Earls Court underground or 7 mins walk from Gloucester Road underground)
Permanent, full time
Salary: £32,500 - £41,643 and up to £3,000* per year for working nights and weekends plus staff bonus scheme.
£3,000 golden hello welcome bonus (T&Cs apply)
£5,000 domestic relocation bonus (T&Cs apply)

*Night and weekend shift enhancements apply and the more you work the higher your earnings.
This is a 24-hour service and you’ll be working a mixture of day, night and weekend shifts within a 4-week rota.
Rotas are planned up to 12 weeks in advance, so you’ll always know your shift pattern and when you’ll have time off for you. You can even select up to 4 off rota days per 4-weekly rota. And if you want to pick up additional shifts, there’s lots of opportunity as part of our bank team on a voluntary basis. Separate enhanced bank rates apply and is paid weekly.

With technologically advanced tools and a revitalised premise, we are continuously pipelining for Staff Nurses who will contribute to the continuous and future success of this unit and the high level of care they deliver.
What you'll do:
Caring for Level 2 and Level 3 patients, you will come across a wide range of cases which include Colorectal, Orthopaedics, Cardiothoracic, Lung surgery, Renal Transplants, Vascular, Liver Robotics, Neuro, Maxillofacial and Medical patients. Your duties will involve but not limited to:
Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care for Critical Care patients.
Work within a team, supervising and directing more junior staff and deputising for Senior Staff Nurse as required.
Act as a clinical role model for all members of staff, driving high standards of care at all times.
Collaboratively working with MDT which consists of Doctors, Pharmacists, Dieticians, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Infection Control & Tissue Viability Nurses to ensure the best quality of care is provided.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, best practice and NMC codes with due care and attention
What you’ll bring:
An active Adult General Adult NMC pin
Current nursing experience in Critical Care
Desire to develop both professionally and personally
Team player abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ICU / Mentorship Course would be advantageous
