Job description
Do you have an interest for creating innovative, regenerative systems in agriculture? Maybe you’re a passionate individual with a desire to positively modify the industry, taking it to a healthier next level? Keep reading.
Are you a non-salesy salesperson? That’s great because this isn't your typical sales role. You’ll use an agronomic approach to sales, with discussion and education being a key tool in your approach. You will already have a great understanding of the growers' needs and frustrations as well as demonstrating passion and adaptability, which means you will have the empathy and proven ability to create technical solutions and offer strategic insight to growers' problems, before or after they arise.
The role is all about relationship building and being the first-person growers think about when they need advice and solutions to soil and crop health. To support your clients, you should have a good understanding of the technical side of soil/plant health and of the role of nutrition/biology within modern agriculture. You will be given the freedom to pursue and build business with your own style, occasionally fronting meetings with groups of growers and professionals as well as sessions and practical walks with individual growers.
Every day looks a little different. Some days you'll be on the road developing new customers in your region, on occasion this may take you slightly further afield where an overnight stay away from home might be required, and others you’ll be combining your knowhow with our sales and technical teams.
All that is required to be considered for this role is relevant business experience, preferably with professional growers, FACTs qualified, and a desire to make a positive impact on UK agriculture. We believe that to provide the best solutions for our clients, we first need to have a vested interest in understanding their processes. That is why it is our mission to know our customers, delve into their unique needs and provide customised solutions. We are here to offer informative, regenerative options along with expertise and an invested passion.
As a successful candidate you will receive a competitive salary, 25 days holiday, a company car, laptop, and phone as well as access to private healthcare, company benefits and continued education.
Sounding like a good fit? Please send us your CV. Don't worry if your CV isn't up to date. Just send what you have, and we can take it from there.
