Job Description

Would you like to be part of an inspiring global team that leads the way in improving the performance of Financial Institutions?

We are the leading consultancy and thought leaders in changing the way organisations work to accelerate the pace of change and delivery of value to customers. We are experts in applying organisational agility, lean, design thinking and embedding systematic changes to operating models. We have clients spanning across the UK, US and Nordics and increasingly in AsiaPac.

As such, we have unrivalled experience, collateral and insight. We have accelerated drug development, helped transform the world to green energy, catapulted a fintech of 400 people into the S&P500 and reimagined visas and immigration. That’s just a few of over 200 incredibly inspiring assignments that we have delivered!

We are looking for exceptional Transformation experts with experience in Retail Banking/Insurance/FinTechs to join our growing team. Candidates will have the opportunity to:

  • Design, and embed, best-in-class consultancy solutions that set us apart from our competition

  • Take early opportunities during the sales lifecycle and perform a variety of roles across the whole change lifecycle

  • Provide coaching and training services that will ensure we achieve our goals, working closely with clients, often in blended teams.

  • Combine your cross-functional skills in complex change delivery to create scope for continuous improvement

  • Be part of an exceptionally vibrant Agile community, and work with Growth Strategy, Digital, People & Change practitioners to grow your broader skillset.

We pride ourselves on working closely with our clients and have a significant number of overseas assignments that offer the opportunity for travel. We are particularly looking for candidates that are amenable to travel, or secondment, in the AsiaPac region.

Qualifications

You will have some, if not all, of the following:

  • Knowledge of the retail banking and/or insurance sector, and industry ‘challenger’ trends such as partnerships, broker APIs and payment gateways

  • An understanding of how to scale development and operations, including when not to scale. You have experience of frameworks including SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale and application to teams of teams and portfolios.

  • An ability to oversee transformation backlog creation, refinement and prioritisation with well-defined acceptance criteria, as well as an understanding of how best to set up and run a transformation at scale

  • Experience leading, and coaching, multiple cross-functional teams (e.g. using Scrum of Scrums, as an Delivery Enablement Lead, RTE or Kanban Lead)

  • Experience of operating model design, at an enterprise level, or helping teams apply patterns to work in more agile ways, for example with ‘Team Topologies’

  • Experience supporting an organisation move from Project to Product, developing and maturing a Product Management capability

  • Experience in Product Management, for example as Product Owner with accountabilities for managing a product end-to-end; developing value propositions through growth, maturity and decline

  • An understanding of how to apply Lean principles and Lean Portfolio Management

  • Portfolio level experience. A proven track record of delivering complex business and technology change using Agile methodologies

You may also have:

  • Experience supporting the introduction of Design Thinking practices into teams

  • Experience in coaching leaders to adopt agile ways of working and a servant leadership mindset

  • Training qualifications in a scaling framework such as SAFe SPC or Certified Kanban Management Professional.

  • Experience of introducing new regulatory focuses innovatively and improving quality, for example the consumer duty

  • Experience of leading and running consulting assignment teams

  • Experience in Change Framework design and evolution as an organisation introduces or moves more fully to agile ways of working
