Role Overview

As Agile Project Manager role you will support the delivery of change. Working with an agile mindset you will be responsible for a mixture of project management and scrum mastering for the implementation of new products, enhanced features to existing products and the continuous improvement and maintenance of all supported applications and processes.

What you’ll do:

  • Effectively manage the delivery of change from initiation to roll-out to meet successful business outcomes
  • Understand macro-objectives and outcomes required while acting as an agent for change, and a driver of change
  • Create, maintain and manage project plans including resource requirements, dependencies, risks and link to outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with the product / project team and beyond to maintain a resource demand forecast and optimise resource utilisation
  • Effectively engage and manage vendors and third parties
  • Use judgement to determine when it is necessary to escalate through established escalation channels in a timely manner
  • Ensure that change is managed in accordance with agreed standards, methods and procedures
  • Define sprints, objectives, contents in conjunction with the product owners and Technical Delivery Managers
  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders at various levels

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience working in technical delivery teams delivering a large project or a number of small projects simultaneously.
  • Subject matter experience in technologies to support back office functions or technologies for automation and data management
  • Detailed knowledge of technology project delivery methodologies including Agile, Scrum Mastering, waterfall as well as hybrid SDLC’s
  • Demonstrable experience as a scrum master in successful delivery programmes
  • Knowledge of the scrum framework and Kanban / Flow
  • Have the ability to thrive in pressurised environments, with a clear approach to decision making
  • Proficiency in risk, resource and cost management.
  • Hold excellent negotiating and strong influencing skills across stakeholders, colleagues and external vendors
