Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager with product ownership and defence industry experience to lead our cross-functional development teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects using Agile methodologies and ensuring that our products are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple Agile projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products
  • Serve as the product owner and primary point of contact for stakeholders, taking responsibility for product roadmap, backlog prioritization, and scope management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve project issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans as required
  • Use data-driven analysis to inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement in team performance and product quality
  • Maintain project budgets and resource allocation, and ensure that projects are delivered within approved financial parameters
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, both internal and external, and ensure that they are kept informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and contractual requirements for the defence industry

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is desirable but suitable expreince in lieu of a Degree will be accepted
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Agile Project Manager, with a proven track record of successfully delivering products using Agile methodologies
  • Experience with product ownership and backlog management, and a strong understanding of user-centric design principles
  • Familiarity with defence industry standards and practices, including security and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively
  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data-driven analysis to inform decision-making

Salary: Up to £68,263.11 per year
