Title - Software Development Manager (Revenue Systems)
Salary - £70,150 - £79,350 (Inclusive of a Non-Consolidated Allowance)
Contract - Permanent
Location - Pier Walk, North Greenwich / Remote Working

You’ll influence the lives of millions
Join us, and you could be responsible for leading the development of revenue systems in a fast-paced, agile environment. You’ll lead one or more teams of skilled software developers using latest Agile practices including, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery to deliver software that’s used by millions of Londoners every day. We’ll rely on you to develop very high throughput back office applications deployed on the Microsoft stack and Azure.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with your peers to ensure that TfL is using the right technologies and you’ll be responsible for managing and mentoring between 5 and 10 other developers. You’ll also work with other development teams using Large Scale Scrum to produce coordinated and integrated high-quality working software.
In order to be successful, you’ll be an expert in either Full Stack / Back-office / Financial Systems Development with proven experience of working on large scale systems in a high throughput, agile environment.

Constantly looking for better ways to develop and deliver software, you’re highly focused, resilient and a real source of inspiration for others. You’re passionate about clean code and modern architecture design and have a production-first DevOps attitude. You have an excellent knowledge of Agile and the Microsoft Development toolset; C#, .NET, SQL Server and Windows. Experience developing high volume systems handling thousands of transactions per second are must haves. Experience of using Azure or AWS is desirable.
You’ll have experience leading, managing and recruiting Software Developers. And, if you can bring excellent communication skills and a flair for analysing complex systems and coming up with effective solutions to problems, you're definitely someone we'd like to talk to.
