Role: Agile Delivery Manager

Contracting Authority: Government

Contract Length: 6 Months

Location: Exeter

IR35: Inside

Pay Rate: £725 per day

Security Clearance: SC Clearance

An exciting opportunity has become available with our prestigious client who is a prominent government department. The client is seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to join their welcoming team.

The Agile Delivery Manager Role:

• To ensure that the team is encouraged and motivated to work effectively and communication in the team is to a high standard to meet business requirements

• When required, to take on the role of Scrum Master

• To be aware of issues hindering project progress and guide the team in finding solutions

• To ensure that the team is focused on the outcome of the project to meet business requirements

• To ensure that the team is continually improving in their way of working

• To provide advice and guidance to the team in develop their knowledge in regards to agile and lean tools/techniques

What the Agile Delivery Manager will need:

• SC Clearance

• Experience in a lead role with agile/lean practices

• Experience utilising a range of agile/lean tools/techniques

• Experience maintaining/encouraging teams and promoting good communication

• Experience coaching colleagues to improve knowledge and ways of working

• Experience identifying issues and proving solutions to overcome them

• Ability to manage risks, budgets and people

• Ability to review and bring new ways of working in regards to current organisational processes
