About Role:
Key Accountabilities:
- Accountable for documenting as-is and to be-processes.
- Accountable for documenting the associated requirements, epics, stories creation and scrum process.
- Able to derive solution, make recommendations and practical decisions.
- Able to act as a product owner proxy when relevant.
- Able to chair discussion with internal customers and external vendors to deliver project objectives.
- Continuous interactions with the different implementation teams to remove / clarify any user stories or journeys related blockers.
- Continuous adoption of Agile & DevOps principles
- Define the most appropriate analysis approach to a problem/opportunity and work within a multi skilled team to achieve the required goal.
- Elicit, analyze, validate, document and priorities business and / or system requirements.
- Analyst and execute test plan to validate engineering deliverable meet requirement.
- Perform technical analysis to understanding the link between changes in systems and business processes to costs and benefits.
- Prepare documentation and presentation material to market offering of the team.
Must Have’s:
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences.
- “Can-do” attitude and problem solving mindset
- Adaptability and self-starter
- Practical experience of Agile & DevOps tooling, for example Jira or equivalent, Confluence or equivalent, Github, etc.
- Strong communication skills to help for negotiating, collaborating, presenting, facilitating, influencing, or stakeholder management
- Proven experience working as an Agile Business Analyst across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse work environments (locations, pods, etc) supporting banking programs.
- Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. integration projects, change management.
- Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Systems Analyst, Business Consultant
- Knowledge and experience of one or more Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban. Knowledge of tools such as JIRA, confluence, MS Visio or similar tools are highly desirable.
- A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
- Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively
- Dealt effectively with highly complex commercial information and business challenges to create strategic business plans which effectively deliver results
- A combined set of good interpersonal skills and business/technology knowledge in order to develop an effective relationship with the business and IT, providing sound consultancy that adds value. The jobholder will document current and future state business & technology processes and perform root cause analysis of failure elements & recommend improvements.
- Has utilized business analysis methods, tools and techniques
- Working with an organization that utilizes an agile software development methodology & implementation planning tools.
- Being business orientated with a technical background
- Ability to work on in a task based model and also flexible in terms of working with different stakeholders who could be in a different time zone (such as US).
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of constraints associated to cloud based platform
- Understanding of Cloud platforms (e.g. GCP, Kong, Service Mesh) and associated technologies
- Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Six Sigma, ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is desirable but not essential.
- Work experience in a large corporate with multi-cultural teams in different geographies is a plus but not a must have.
