Job description
Agency Support Worker VACANCIES
We are currently recruiting for reliable Support Workers who are looking for rewarding and flexible role! Experience desirable but not essential as full training is provided. After all, everyone starts somewhere, right?
Are you looking for extra income in time for Christmas or something more permanent - a career with the chance of gaining NVQ qualifications long-term? We might be right for you!
As a fully trained Support Worker you will carry out all duties required on a shift to assist the resident or service user with tasks such as dressing, cooking, accessing the community and personal care. A big smile and a can-do attitude are a must! Shifts vary depending upon the service users' needs but could be between 2-12 hours long.
As a Support Worker with our agency, the perks are never ending! You can choose what shifts you would like to work. If you like to keep your weekends free for your personal life, then you have the option to pick up only weekday shifts and vice versa. There are no restrictions to the role. You are in control!
You should be aware that we may not always be able to match your availability to work so shifts may change each week. Don't let that put you off, we will always try our best to meet your requirements.
So, what's the fine print?
- You must be a driver with your own vehicle to get to and from work safely.
- You must have good 'people' skills as service users can be from all walks of life.
- You must be willing to learn, be honest, reliable, patient and friendly.
- Good communications skills are essential.
- The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and x2 references which we request on your behalf unless you are on the live DBS update service.
We are an agency who provide person-centred care to our valued residents and service users across Staffordshire. Our sister company has been offering services since 2015 which reflects our company history and passion in helping vulnerable individuals on a permanent basis.
