Job description

Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for an Aftersales Account Manager at TaaS (Truck as a Service).

Please note: Preferred location for the candidate would be around Reading or Tottenham.


What you will do:
We are looking for a people's person, who is able to connect the dots and establish fruitful communication between stakeholders with different needs and requirements. You would project manage and act as trusted adviser and main point of contact for the operational level of all customers post-delivery, to ensure the customer is utilising our products to gain most success, to deliver further support (e.g. training, future planning) and identify TaaS sales & upselling opportunities.

  • Focus on customer being successful with their purchase
  • Advising across all Volta products
  • Feedback to relevant stakeholders on issues and fights to resolve quickly and effectively
  • Own relationship with 40 depot managers (representing ~20 customers), visiting each depot once per quarter in the first year and twice per year moving forward
  • Collate customer feedback across Truck & TaaS pillars post-delivery, and reflect key learnings to the management board and the workstream

We would like you to have:

  • Previous experience of working within a Customer Service, Sales or account management role
  • Proven Customer development skills
  • Experience within a technical, automotive or commercial Vehicle field would be advantageous, but not essential
  • Experience working within a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English (B2 level minimum) is essential, other languages desirable
